AND COUNTING

THE AND COUNTING COLLECTION

ORIGINATED FROM A SIGN THAT RANDI

CARRIED AT THE 50TH ANNIVERSARY OF THE

MARCH ON WASHINGTON FOR JOBS &

JUSTICE IN AUGUST 2013. AFTER BEING

STOPPED NUMEROUS TIMES BY PEOPLE

WANTING TO TAKE A PICTURE OF THE SIGN,

RANDI DECIDED TO SKETCH THE NAMES OF

THE FALLEN BROTHERS ON A STICKY-NOTE AS

IF THEY WERE LISTED ON A T-SHIRT.

ON APRIL 19, 2014, THE FIRST 100  AND

COUNTING TEES BECAME AVAILABLE FOR

PURCHASE AT BROCCOLI CITY FEST IN DC.

THE AND COUNTING COLLECTION DOES THE

NECESSARY WORK OF MEMORIALIZING

BLACK MEN & WOMEN WHO'VE BEEN KILLED

AT THE HANDS OF POLICE & TRIGGER-HAPPY

CITIZENS. AS THE LISTS GROW LONGER, THE

FONTS GROW SMALLER. THE FALLEN

BROTHERS & SISTERS NAMES' ARE LISTED

SIMPLY YET PROFOUNDLY.
